This is actually a really good kaftan and for the price you can't beat it! I bought my first one 2 (maybe 3) years ago. We have a pool and I just wanted something light and comfortable and it is both. I also really liked that this one (mostly white with black stripes) is made out of cotton (or something that looks like cotton!). As I only wore it around the house and during the summer months I didn't really follow the washing instructions - I just tossed it in the washer and dryer with other clothes but it survived until I ripped it apart while walking stairs and do not step on your back. But I'm short (5 feet 2 inches). It is NOT too long except for climbing stairs. I bought another one this summer (2020) and since we were home A LOT I almost lived in it. The only other beach cover I own is one by Trina Turk (sp?), was a gift, cost over $100 and needs to be hand washed and ironed so rarely used.
