Thick enough and glowing enough for my purposes
This cover is thick enough to protect my Shield controller from frequent drops onto the wooden floor and glows well enough that I notice it after the lights go out. If you are looking for something to dance to at a rave you will be disappointed. But if you just need something to help you find a black controller on a dark couch after you've just turned off the lights before watching a movie, this is almost perfect.
