Added 2 pics, the first is before I oiled my butcher block (the house we bought came with it and I didn't know anything about it until recently, it's been about 4 years since it was so lubricated) and after that. It was still shiny because the oil wasn't fully absorbed yet. This oil has helped breathe new life into my kitchen by making this board shine again! I'm so happy with how it turned out.
