I bought these radios for security reasons. I was a little hesitant to buy them because of the price. I bought some Baofeng radios and they didn't work very well for what I needed so I bought them. I had them for two days and after charging them I started testing them. So far I've only set them up to communicate with the other radios in the kit, but let me tell you they're worth the money I paid. I left one for my brother and drove 800 meters on the highway and they still fished great. Crystal clear transmission, they seem to be made like tanks and easy to use. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good radio for security patrols, two-way communication with family after cell phones go out of service, or just radio communication with family members around your homestead.
