While these pliers are inexpensive, they appear to be reasonable quality for the money. But they are not super high quality. I usually pay more for them at the Gem and Jewelry Show. I've just been away for a while and needed a new pair as my other one was worn out. I can't say how long they last as I haven't used them for a long time. I will update the rating if this changes. For now they appear to be well built and have worked well for my needs so far. One thing I would like to say is that the double leaf spring is usually the weakest part of these types of pliers and will likely wear out first. The reason I removed a star is that they are not as sharp or evenly rounded as I had hoped. My last pair was a bit more pointed and rounder than this pair. This will work for my needs. You can get that for less than $7.
