I replaced a Delta valve from the 70's with this one. Used with Delta T17493 faucet. Installed by a plumber as he had to cut the back panel and cut and solder the copper tubing. The installation was fairly quick for them and they reported no problems. The valve feels solid and simple in design. Everything works satisfactorily, but the real test is of course how long it lasts. The reason I chose the Delta was the long life of the previous valve. Trust me, it wasn't because of Delta's customer service or the price on their website. Your email representative has not responded after three requests. Waited an hour on the phone and no useful information. No one could tell me what faucet model I have. However, I have given them pictures and a patent number. And how can their prices be more expensive than Revain? Hopefully their quality will save me the trouble of contacting their customer service.
