Review on Kenwood DPX304MBT: Bluetooth Double DIN Mechless Car Stereo Receiver with Amazon Alexa, Black by Eric Grayson

If I was trapped in a magic lamp to grant wishes, I would give this stereo to people who want Bluetooth in their car because of the technical requirements equivalent but implemented in the most annoying and uncomfortable way, so they won't like it. There is no way to prevent the head unit from seemingly randomly opening the Music app on YOUR PHONE and PLAYING whatever comes up. Starting your car isn't the same as wanting to turn on a podcast or audiobook and losing your seat, but buying this is exactly what will happen. It's not inherent in Bluetooth technology, some software nutcase at Kenwood decided to make it so that the device only asks to play when connected, instead of waiting for the user like any sane speaker/headphone would . Sound 10/10 user experience 1/10
