I used to use a cleaning brush to remove stains but it was too rough and rough for most of my fabrics. This brush really gets the job done and is soft enough not to lint or ruin the fabric. It was a bonus that there were 2 in the set - I use the second to clean the seam around the sink and it doesn't take long. the solution is removed like stiffer brushes. The only downside to using it for cleaning is that it's very blocky and can't get into smaller areas (like around faucets). Otherwise a simple and *very* effective product.
