Easiest transition. Remove the battery cover and remove the battery. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the case. Be careful not to lose the spring or button of both the old case and the new case! If necessary, transfer the chip. To turn the spring, add the spring and knob to the key. Gently turn the key counterclockwise until the spring is on the small ledge, then close the key. While holding the pressure, reattach the front of the case and that's it! I used the flat head to take off the original Kia logo and used the barcode sticker that came with it. Looks brand new!
