The prior tires were Nokia Hakapelita R2s from an older generation, and I drove them all throughout Hong Kong in both the winter and summer seasons for a total of four years before deciding not to replace them even though they were completely worn out. Before winter arrived, I made the decision to acquire new ones, and I wound up with these. I scheduled it for the beginning of October, when the climate was more stable and the temperature was at least seven degrees cooler than normal. It is now the month of November, and there was neither snow nor ice nor particularly cold weather. Under these circumstances, the tires are performing exceptionally well. As soon as I increased my speed to 40 km/h, I noticed that the cabin immediately became much quieter, and I'm now comfortable increasing my speed to 60 km/h. At first, I found it unsettling since I was concerned that it would drag me off to the side, but it did not end up doing that. When picking up speed, I get the impression that the tarmac is greasy. When braking (even hard) ABS does not operate. Regarding the procedure throughout a typical winter, I do not yet have any information to share. Previous tires did not cause any issues or receive any complaints. These ought to be at least as good as the others.
