HUD Display Car OBD2 in Jeep Wrangler JKU 2016

In 1.5 months of daily driving, the HUD in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK worked perfectly. The display is legible 99% of the time, 1% is still legible but not as clear and only occurs when the sun reflects off the dashboard/windshield in a very specific way. This is a significant improvement over the stock odometer. I haven't had any battery drain issues which was one of my concerns, on the other hand I use my car on a daily basis and will turn off any potential sources of discharge if I leave the car for more than an hour. week anyway. Pros: This is a significant improvement in readability over standard digital odometers (often unreadable due to the sun) and analog odometers (only on a tiny scale). Can have hours all the time. More eyes in the area where it matters (street). This is a security improvement. Pretty unremarkable. Easy installation and configuration. Choice of metric or imperial system. , Short delay makes it more stable. Due to the vertical windshield, the Wrangler HUD also lights up the screen with a classic double mirror effect, which I don't find a problem as it's only really visible when it's fairly dark outside. and could even be considered a positive if you could focus the double bounce artifact

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Useless functions
