Walker Muffler #18437 SoundFX is the left half of a custom aluminized WALKER dual exhaust system that installs easily with a jack and a few hand tools. The SoundFX silencer series is made of fully aluminized "Made in the USA" steel. The three-pipe muffler design ensures adequate flow with a quiet sedan sound. A dual WALKER exhaust system (found on a 1995 Mercury V-8) gives a 20 horsepower increase. compared to a standard single exhaust. The increase in fuel consumption depends on your driving style. The Walker "SoundFX" is NOT a high-performance muffler, and it won't give up the gorgeous V-8 "Power Rumble". If you want full power and smooth rumble, the Walker "Dyno-Max" range is the choice for quality, looks and performance and they are also available from Revain. DynoMax #17736 or DynoMax #17763 can be used in place of Walker #18437 "SoundFX" mufflers, but Dynomax does not have brackets.
