Review on Revamped Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera: 24.3MP SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and Power Zoom Lens by Somsak Pasalae ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I purchased a nex-5 in 2022; at the time, it was a magnificent camera that made it possible to use manual, vintage optics from many systems. When I made the decision to update my camera in 2022, I had a choice between the a6000 and a6500, but the a6000 was by far the better option because to the a6000's double cost, lack of 4K video, lack of silent shooting, and lack of matrix stub. I was pleasantly delighted by the ergonomics, the viewfinder's presence, and the caliber and speed of autofocus when I switched from the old NEX-5 to the a6000. UPCs' autofocus speed is now comparable to that of SLR cameras.

Pros
  • APS-C matrix with wide DD @ 24 MP; compact size of the camera and the 16-50 kit lens; rapid shooting speed; presence of a shoe; viewfinder; built-in flash; changing of shooting modes is located on a separate control wheel; fits well in the hand; large array of manual lenses.
Cons
  • Battery capacity is a problem, therefore you should have extras. The whale 16-50 leaves a lot to be desired, with subpar sharpness and soap in the corners. This is a problem with the entire fleet of e-mount optics, not just this particular model.
