Review on 🌱 Zareba K9KIT: The Ultimate Pet and Garden Kit for All Your Needs by Candace Ortiz

We have two 25 lb corgis and a 60 lb heeler that run and nest in my pink flower beds. So we bought this set thinking it would keep them out of my rose bed. I ordered K9Kit after reading information and reviews. The kit was delivered quickly and we were happy to assemble the fence! Then we realized that the kit did NOT come with everything you need. The description does not say that you need to buy a connection cable, which is sold separately. This product took forever to process and then forever to ship. After 2 weeks we finally got the connecting wire and attached it to the fence. (Remember that while our dogs waited to be connected to the wire, they walked freely under the wire to get to the other side of the rose bed.) Once the wire warmed, we called the dogs to the fence let's see what would happen. . They happily passed under the wire and nothing happened. Apparently, dogs are only shocked when their nose touches the wire. We've since moved the wires closer to the ground so they get electrocuted if they "crawl" under the wire. So far, only our big dog has been shocked, and the little ones are happily running back and forth under the wire. In general, this works great if your dog has a solid nose and very little hair! As for us, we'll probably send it back and invest in a real electric fence.
