Brushless and slower option with shock protection and auto shut off in case of power failure. (Doesn't turn on when plugged back in if switch was on.) Makes a howling noise at higher RPMs but after using my first one for a year or more I've bought 2 more if I'm grinding metal and cut. Also suitable for sanding wood. I prefer a paddle switch so it turns off when I let go of the grinder, but with shock protection (works great) it's a pretty safe job anyway. I have yet to drop this grinder, it's quite heavy but not as bad as other variable speed grinders I've used and not as easy to break after a few months as cheap tools from . Selling them for $150 is a pretty good buy, $200 sucks, but if I needed one I'd pay for it before buying a $50 single speed grinder.
