Great tool, light and compact but powerful

I am a professional bricklayer. I've had a lot of different grinders. This grinder is smaller and lighter, but just as powerful. It doesn't get hot, all other grinders have brushes, they get hot, it's brushless. I've only had it six or seven weeks. I use it almost every day, it's the best coffee grinder I've ever had. I've been using a meat grinder for 40 years. Runs very smoothly, I like the speed control. It has six numbers, from one to six, to set the speed, but you can set it anywhere…

Pros
  • Power tool and hand tool
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

Easy to use slim body

Brushless and slower option with shock protection and auto shut off in case of power failure. (Doesn't turn on when plugged back in if switch was on.) Makes a howling noise at higher RPMs but after using my first one for a year or more I've bought 2 more if I'm grinding metal and cut. Also suitable for sanding wood. I prefer a paddle switch so it turns off when I let go of the grinder, but with shock protection (works great) it's a pretty safe job anyway. I have yet to drop this grinder, it's…

Not upset, but not impressed either.

I expected this meat grinder to be epic.β€” But that's okay. I thought it would be thinner than my other grinders but I snapped it next to my 4.5 inch Makita and it's about the same. It's just a lot longer and heavier. The body material is very slippery. I needed to hold it even tighter than slightly larger body grinders, so I cut out 60 grit grinding wheels and glued them to the body. The grip is good now. Then, after about a week of constant use, it would start to lose speed erratically and…
