Review on 🔧 2 Inch Brushless Variable 12 Amp Grinder by Junrey Jewel

I expected this meat grinder to be epic.— But that's okay. I thought it would be thinner than my other grinders but I snapped it next to my 4.5 inch Makita and it's about the same. It's just a lot longer and heavier. The body material is very slippery. I needed to hold it even tighter than slightly larger body grinders, so I cut out 60 grit grinding wheels and glued them to the body. The grip is good now. Then, after about a week of constant use, it would start to lose speed erratically and then pick up full speed again. It's unstable. The vibration is about the same as my other grinders. Power is great at any rpm. I think I can handle the weight and length and with the grip issue fixed it's fine. BUT - this random speed change is annoying and dangerous. When I called a technician at Metabo he offered to send it in for an exchange but Revain had nothing in stock. Instead I got my money back and I don't think I will buy it again. It seems to me that in this case it is not worth going to brushless and paying extra money. I'm not impressed. Not upset, but not impressed either. ***Update June 2021: The intermittent RPMs problem has gotten worse over the course of 6 months and I put the grinder away thinking I'll fix it if it ever becomes convenient to take with me. one of the workshops recommended by Metabo 3 hours away. Instead I took it to a local repair shop to see if Metabo would honor the warranty. They did. I had to replace the entire rear of the mill: everything behind the engine. This is now my go-to 5" hard wheel grinder and I sometimes switch spoked wheels when I want to slow it down and get small jobs done. . - Changed the rating from originally 2 stars to 4 stars. The stubborn case would have made it a 5 star product. Jacob Dean
