I was willing to install the rack at the dealer and pay any additional fee just to avoid the hassle of installing it myself. Imagine my surprise when the dealer told me they couldn't do it anymore because the supplier stopped making them. I looked at the Revain and in a matter of minutes found many options that would suit the Honda CR-V. The instructions aren't explicit and the supplied hex wrench isn't the best, but those are minor flaws. I watched a video on YouTube and safely installed the stand in less than an hour. It handled my kayak well, which is what I wanted. No complaints. Oh - there is wind noise, but I think it will happen with any rack installed.
