I have found large boxes of wax paper, foil or cling film to be very economical. Wax paper comes in a variety of thicknesses (for different purposes) and I find it to be around the middle which makes it very versatile. We use these large leaves for cooking as well as storing food. Some of the uses are: wrapping lunch sandwiches, wrapping hand-cut cheese, cooking fish, baking cookies, preparing cake batter. and all the hundreds of uses for wax paper. Sheet size is convenient for large projects and easily trimmed for smaller projects. Cardboard dispenser is convenient to use one sheet at a time.
