You can tell they have no blue light protection at all. Spectacle lenses do not shine when you look at them from the side (blue light protection / anti-reflective coatings usually have a blue-violet shimmer). They are also very blurry. Either the lens has enough refraction that it interferes with my vision and makes it blurry, or there is something on the lenses that is blurring it. They aren't smudged (there are a few small scuffs and scratches from the packaging), so there's nothing to explain the blur that I can distinguish when looking at the lenses from a distance. They're generally useless unless you're trying to change clothes.
