They are ideal for touching up details (scratches, chips, etc.) on your car. This is much better than drawing with felt-tip pens, toothpicks, etc. Some tips to make it easier: 1. Dilute the touch-up paint a little before pouring (dripping) the paint into the tip/container. (I use paint thinner but check the paint literature for the correct thinner). If you don't dilute the paint, the tip may clog. 2. Wear reading glasses or other magnifying glass when filling the chips. This makes it much easier to carry out quality work.3. Clean thoroughly after each use with solvent and the wire brush provided.
