If I could give 10 stars I would. Over the years I've tried probably 10 different vent mounts on 3 different cars. I have a box full of them. They are all the same. They all work and my phones fall at my feet and almost caused an accident one day. Featuring metal temples and an easy twist closure, this new style feels like it will never come off. I pulled so hard I almost ripped off the ventilation. I'm not sure why they contain both the old type and the new type base, but the new one is all that's needed.
