IT WORKS. Actually converts S-Video to HDMI correctly with no white smear artifacts! I've tried many other converters on Revain with terrible results, but this one works clean and crystal clear! Would recommend over even more expensive units. Next to buying the XRGB Mini Framemeister, this is your next best choice. Handles S-Video and Composite well, outputs 720p and 1080p correctly. Note that the output is 16:9 full screen. So if you're using an old game console or VHS that's designed for 4:3, you'll need to see if your TV allows you to force the aspect ratio. Luckily my TV lets me change it so it's not a problem! The stretched 16:9 aspect ratio doesn't bother others, but it should be noted. Check if your TV allows you to set the aspect ratio manually.
