I ordered this hob because it matched the cut already cut into my granite countertop, the price and the variety of burner sizes (two of the burners are double size). Now I have to get used to it! The old hob with handles was easier to use, but this totally flat surface is good! It turns on with a very light touch, the burner ignites by simply wiping the controls with a kitchen towel. It came very quickly and was very easy to install, I'm 68 years old and installed it myself. It heats up very quickly and cools down slowly. It has a lock function and a timer function to switch off automatically. Only criticism is that stains are very difficult to remove. I've only had it for 2 days and so far I'm loving it! A month later I want to warn you. Please store this hob with the lock on! The burners turn on FAST at the slightest touch. The touch controls are very sensitive almost to the dangerous point. Please take 3 seconds to use the parental control function. I've had this hob for 6 months now and I hate using it because of the controls! You must be very careful not to turn on additional burners. I wish I had the ones with the handles! I just pray the house doesn't burn down. I've had this stove for almost 11 months now and I'm almost afraid to use it. The lock function is sometimes difficult to turn on and then off again so you can use the stove! There has hardly been a time I have used this stove without accidentally turning on the other burners! Dangerous! Get that with the grips.! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because it looks nice. annual report. I contacted this company about my concerns. They were VERY GOOD and responded quickly. They even offered to swap it out for a handle model, but the cutout in my granite is an inch smaller. I'm still worried about safety but they tried very hard to make me happy.
