I put a little on my fingertips and rub it in like a moisturizer. In seconds :) I have moderate rosacea and some age related issues (just passed 70th threshold). I'm one of those women who put on makeup to walk their dogs! Now I don't wear foundation most of the time, I just use it. It evens out my skin tone, has adequate coverage and a beautiful finish. With only two colors, the choice is of course limited, but luckily this material suits me. I always wear natural or cream beige as a base. I've tried a few others but haven't found anything better, including the $40 IT cream. I can't be wrong
