I was able to replace the cap and everything seems fine. I hope that when I use the sensor.

When I received this and opened the blue plastic case, the glass or plastic cover of the sensor itself was separate from the sensor and was loose in the case. I was able to replace the cap and everything seems fine. I hope that when I use the sensor that works well. I won't be returning it but thought I'd pass it on.
