I wanted a durable case that would show off the pink color of my iPad. It is great. The two pieces snap together easily to hold your iPad securely. The stand seems a little less durable, but I don't use it. I don't have an Apple Pencil either, nor do I intend to buy one. In this case there is no place for a pencil. Therefore, this can be a serious disadvantage for people who use a pencil. It fully meets my needs. The iPad can't just come out. The front frame is high enough to protect the screen when dropped. It does not come with a screen protector. The top frame is only open. I feel safe without a screen protector due to the overall quality of the case. Adding it is definitely not difficult. I got what I expected at a reasonable price. So I'm very happy. I have a gloss that would be good for a young girl or adult like me who loves a bit of bling in life.
