Overall I really like this ramp. I needed one for my english bulldog puppy who has weak back legs to help her climb onto our couch on her own. We don't have a lot of space around our sofa so I wanted it not to be too long and wide, with a platform at the top and not too steep, not to mention one that looks good. be good too. This one checks all these fields! The only downside to my dog is that he is slow and strong. I'm sure the rug used will provide more than enough traction for most pets to get them up and down. However, Ella slipped off the ramp as soon as she stood on it with her hind legs. However, I was able to find a solution by sticking strips of non-slip tape across the carpet and Ella can now walk up and down the ramp at her own pace. Hooray!
