I had my doubts about enlarging the screen as shown in the product images, but decided to give it a try anyway. My husband loves to watch something on his phone while we're all watching something different on TV so I thought it might be nice since he doesn't have to strain to see something on a tiny screen. It's lightweight and easy to install, but the materials are cheap and unreliable. The product images give the impression that this enlarges the phone's image to roughly the full size of the magnifier screen (14 inches), but it actually only enlarges your phone's screen a little bit, giving you more screen area of the magnifying glass is empty space. Yes, you can see the enlarged image, but it does not look like the product image. Also, if you look at the magnified screen, you can see all the lines on the magnified screen, which isn't as clean and sharp as we'd like. So, I'd say it's functional in the sense that it magnifies what you see, but I think most people will be disappointed with the results.
