I bought this screen protector as an experiment to see if it would cover a broken screen enough to avoid changing the screen. I bought my iPad on sale for $250 and calculated how much it would cost to replace the screen. I could buy a new one for this, so figured I'd see if the $12 fix worked to keep the glass from falling out and cutting my fingers while scrolling. I know it's for a non-broken screen, but it worked really well for what I needed to do. It's far from perfect, but my iPad's screen was badly shattered and would never have been perfect without a screen replacement. There are bubbles where glass broke but I really expected that as it won't be perfectly flat and smooth anymore. When you turn on the iPad, the bubbles are not as noticeable and the cracks on the original glass are less noticeable. I needed a white frame to cover the 1" by 1/2" hole left by the glass falling out on impact. The screen scrolls and works the same as it did before the crash, and I haven't found any areas where there are issues in this regard. It looks the same as the original full coverage screen that fits perfectly. IF I EVER buy a new iPad, phone or anything else electronic with a cracked screen I will see if this company makes a suitable screen protector. Too bad I didn't buy it when I first bought my ipad and maybe the damage wouldn't have been that great. EASY TO APPLY - Comes with everything you need to apply. It closes automatically without outside help. I'm so glad I decided to only use this iPad and not buy another just yet, especially since the kids love using it.
