I've lost count of how many laptop stands I've had over the years, but most of them have either suffered from lack of height and angle adjustment options, offset and/or didn't hold the position I needed. This solves all these shortcomings. Yes, as the manual clearly states, it takes a bit of muscle to get it into place. If it were plastic that would be bad, but it's a strong metal so just apply firm, even pressure and you'll be fine.
