*** July 14, 2019 It stopped working after 5 uses. Won't turn on, no light, no vapor. Negative feedback is true. Less than a month of ownership and a few uses and it just stopped working. To be honest I read most of the reviews. But there were some AMAZING reviews of this steamer, so I took their side and made my purchase. It produces steam, holds enough water (easily over 45 minutes for consistent steam), has some decent attachments. However, the fork is incredibly short (and my house is small). It wasn't spectacular cleaning grout or really cleaning anything. Also the small door that covers the area where you drain the water broke already with just one use (minor issue). I think it's probably great for wallpapering, disinfecting and refreshing carpets (that's why I bought it) and cleaning tiles. floors (like a mop). It offers chemical-free cleaning, but it's no wonder. You may still need a cleaner and you need to make an effort! There's also no space to stash your cord, hose, or accessories. So you either have to keep the box or buy something to put it in to keep everything together. Overall, the reason I bought it served its purpose, but I wanted to use it for more than just touching up carpets. I will keep the product and find other uses for it. IMO the reviews are a little bloated but I was able to use it for my intended purpose.
