Helly-Hansen Vardapeak V2 Trail sneaker: a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts

I recently had the opportunity to try the Helly-Hansen Vardapeak V2 Trail Shoe and was overall impressed. While I wouldn't say it's the most innovative shoe I've worn, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a durable and comfortable shoe for outdoor adventures. It should be noted that the size seems a bit small - I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 in most shoes and a size 7 was barely big enough in them. So if you are between sizes I would recommend going up a size. However, once I found the right size, I found these shoes very comfortable. They are lightweight and flexible, making them easy to move over rough terrain. The rubber outsole gripped well on both wet and dry surfaces and I always felt confident. In terms of design, I went for the 215 Oxblodd/Cherry Tomato/Papaya/Melon colorway, which is definitely a head turner. If you're looking for a slimmer shoe this might not be for you, but if you like bright colors and want to stand out on the trail this is a fun option. Overall, I would give the Helly-Hansen Vardapeak V2 trail shoe 4 out of 5 stars. They're not perfect, but they're a great option for those looking for a reliable and comfortable trail running shoe.

Pros
  • All round perfect
Cons
  • Durability Issues: Although marketed as a trail running shoe, some buyers report signs of wear after a few months of use. This can be a problem for those looking for durable outdoor shoes.
