Review on SVBONY SV165 Mini Guide Scope 30mm F4 Finder Scope: Ideal for SV305 Pro, ZWO, QHY, and Orion Auto Guiding Cameras by Walter Hodzic

This little hydoscope really deserves 5 stars and there is a very small reason why I wanted to give it 4.5 stars instead. so I rounded it down, but the result is really very close to the ideal. As others have noted it is very durable and in my case I had no issues with the retaining screw at all. I use an svbony305 pro camera (bought it for another reason but now work as a tour guide) and it fits and works perfectly with it. As others have pointed out, to get infinity focus with shorter cameras (like zwo and svbony) you have to screw the focus all the way out. This isn't a problem though, once you close the red ring it becomes durable. Speaking of toughness, it's both a strength (built like a tank) and a minor weakness in my use. Compared to the QHY Mini Guider (which I also have) it is a bit heavier. And since my setup is extremely portable (gram counters), this adds some unwanted weight (qhy of course only accepts certain cameras as a minus point against that). But most people using this won't bother with a little extra weight so like I said it really deserves 5 stars. I'll update this if there are any issues in the future, but for now it's a little gem. hydoscope. By the way, I use imaging with a circumference of up to 420 mm and a camera pixel size of 2.9-3.8 microns.
