Had to. I had to break down and buy a saddle for my father for the first time in my life. I'm 44 and my old racing saddles were no longer comfortable enough. It's not as big and soft as most, but it caught my eye a bit next to my old saddle - initially. It doesn't really feel like a comfortable saddle, but it definitely does. Not only is the padding not too bulky, but the seatpost itself has a molded section of flexible material surrounded by a stiffer support frame, which is key. It's pretty slick and very effective. It really does not tolerate such a comfortable saddle. Looks more standard. I also love the classic leather look.
