Review on Brother Computerized Quilting HC1850 Instructional by Doris Tran

Check out my review of Singer Curvy. I bought two this month, both didn't work and I returned them. Helpless, since I've only had Singers so far, I risked this car. It was a little cheaper than the Curvy and had a lot more features, but I thought Brother was a poor quality brand compared to the previously reliable Singer. boy was i wrong! i love this car I tested it for 3 days of intense sewing and it still works! Even better, it's lightweight but feels "heavier" than my Singers. He doesn't "swing" that much. It's quiet and fast. Threading is easy very easy to spool and insert. It has some great features and I love the "needle down". smooth coil winding; quick coil installation. -- Easy threading (manual) -- Stitch chart right on the front of the machine -- VERY convenient. -- It is very easy to change the length and width of the stitches. .-- Sewing speed control (slow is ideal for thick corners to avoid needle breakage).-- Feed dog retraction for free-motion quilting.-- Price $190.00 such a cheap machine but with lots of features. And those are just the highlights. I found a new home with my brother. I will check out some of their more expensive cars as this one is very impressive. Definitely buy is good. Goodbye singer.
