Guys, I've been looking for an all-metal kettle for a long time. I threw away the Dualit which has plastic parts that come in contact with water. The same goes for Aroma, Haden and so on. It seems it is! At first it seemed amazing. Until a few weeks went by and I started noticing an odd taste. (I have strong taste buds.) Can anyone tell me why a metal kettle gives the water an odd chemical taste? Note that the heating base seems to smell.
