Did a lot of homework and came out with this brand as the best and so far I agree. The phone app makes up for the limited remote access capabilities. I like that the Bluetooth connection is not dependent on a device like Alexa. Please note that only one phone can be controlled at a time. You can also use the app to control multiple devices, but they may not always be in sync as one device for tapes can differ from another device by a split second. This product has created great mood lighting and essential task lighting for our kitchen. Please note that if you need serious task lighting for your kitchen, it may not be bright enough for you. In this case you need a strip of 600 LEDs and not 300 as now. Also note that the strips are a bit fragile so handle them carefully. For the top of the cabinets I used push pins to hold the strip in place. Be careful to put the pin between the wires or you'll ruin the strip! The safest place to place the pin is near the cut so you can better see where the wires are. Finally, despite what others say, I felt that the adhesive is quite strong. I think it depends on the surface it's applied to. It should be smooth, dry and clean. I rubbed alcohol on the surface to keep it extra clean and adhesion was excellent. Overall very happy with the product and the ease of setup.
