I recommend buying a new TOPGO cup holder for your phone. So far this has worked great for me. I didn't know it had a built in wireless charger until I received the product. It was a pleasant surprise and it works great. The holder feels like you've placed your phone on it, and the small grips automatically grip. Again, this worked perfectly. At first I thought it wasn't strong enough, but after some use I realized I was wrong. Also, this new phone holder is more rigid than the old version. My phone doesn't shake like the old one. BUT. That's why I'm not giving 5 stars... anyway. I live in Minnesota and it gets very cold here in the winter so I don't know if this holder will continue to work in sub-zero temperatures. I will update later in the season. Also, the small touch sensors that reveal the phone work great when you're not wearing gloves. I found I had to take off my gloves to free him. I installed an old TOPGO cup holder that has a manual release of the small side handles. I would love to have this feature along with wireless charging. The motorized mechanism that holds the phone doesn't stand up to the cold. Below 20°F the gripper movement will not complete and as you approach 0°F it will no longer fully function. If you live in a warmer climate you will be fine. For us in colder climates I would recommend a product that uses the old hand grip system with the new wireless charging base.
