After reading the card that came with the remotes all the remotes take less than a minute to install. I've seen reviews of similar items complaining that the process erases the old remote and all I can say is that the first step of the instructions I received clearly states that the procedure will erase all previously programmed remote controls. The only thing that might confuse some is that in step 8 the OFF position is the (O) position in my ignition to remove the key - you must use the (I) position as part of the programming process for the other steps. . Definitely cheaper than going to the dealer and it took me longer to go to the curbside mailbox for an envelope than to follow the programming steps on the instruction card. There is a customer service number and email address for support/warranty questions, but you most likely won't need them.
