bought for my son for Christmas. He's almost a year old. He loves the light and the sounds of this drum and often plays with it. It seems solidly built and durable. There are a few features in addition to knocking/slamming sounds/lights. However, I took off a star because it really looks like it needs to be slammed with decent force to make it work. He knows how to do it (he can play rough) but I think it should be a little lighter and softer. Overall this is a decent product for the price.
