Toys OK. It's not as well made as the Fisher Price baby drum that we have. It's a hard plastic, but once we started spinning it, it didn't work very well after that. You can tap it, but it doesn't really make a lot of fun sounds. Overall good, but not outstanding.

I ordered this for my 8 month old as he is finally moving and loves any instrument that makes noise. This little drum kit is perfect for playing and he loves the sounds and lights it makes. Overall I am very happy with the quality and would recommend it to anyone with a toddler!

i love this toy - ready to play - no batteries required, comes with batteries - my daughter loves it because it's bright and loud and colorful - confuses me as an adult this toy. I won't lie I didn't read the instructions but the only button I understand is the music that plays the songs, other than that I don't know. My daughter loves this toy so it's a win - I would recommend this product!

bought for my son for Christmas. He's almost a year old. He loves the light and the sounds of this drum and often plays with it. It seems solidly built and durable. There are a few features in addition to knocking/slamming sounds/lights. However, I took off a star because it really looks like it needs to be slammed with decent force to make it work. He knows how to do it (he can play rough) but I think it should be a little lighter and softer. Overall this is a decent product for the price.

Our baby was 9 months old when we bought her this toy - she is 13 months old and still enjoys playing with this toy. The toy makes sounds and lights up with different lights as it rolls on the floor. The colored buttons on the side light up and make sounds that appear randomly. One end of the toy makes drum sounds and can be played like a drum. Bought this toy for my 6 month old daughter. When I opened it I assumed it needed batteries, when I opened the bottom to put the batteries in I found that some were included and just assumed they were dead so I replaced them and put that Toy after checking back on, it works. I was due to pick it up 15 minutes later and it smelled strongly of melting plastic and felt very warm. I quickly took out the batteries. We have this to share with our neighbors. So you have a four year old, a two year old and a six month old who have access. All three are excited! Didn't expect that. I know it says 9 months and older but given the durability and visual appeal I think younger is fine. I love that it's a lot cheaper than the Mozart Cube which was our favorite.
