We have this to share with our neighbors. So you have a four year old, a two year old and a six month old who have access. All three are excited! Didn't expect that. I know it says 9 months and older but given the durability and visual appeal I think younger is fine. I love that it's a lot cheaper than the Mozart Cube which was our favorite. Plus, it can definitely take more beating than this toy. He has survived several falls from the hard stairs in our house. This would make a great gift for any child, but I'd say the target age is under the age of two. I haven't seen it anywhere else but Revain either, so it's probably a safe gift without having to worry about duplicates. An added bonus is that it seems durable enough to survive home use. what is important to us in our garbage disposal.
