So I I opened up my PS4 controller and changed the skins to make them personal and unique. I recently opened it up again to change the buttons to gold metal buttons. However, I confused the charging board/strip with the LED display. Stressed that I need to buy a new controller, I researched and found this product to solve my problems. It works great, swapped out the charging board and ribbon (the ribbon can't be easily swapped out as it doesn't match the OEM charging pins), put it back together and indeed the indicator light came on and was charging again. I highly recommend this product for PS4 controller model JDS-055 (PS4 controller cuh-zct2u, the model I have. Make sure the band is facing the right direction, otherwise it won't work).
