Review on πŸ‘• Dickies Men's Heavyweight T-Shirt X-Large - Clothing Shirts by Austin Cejudo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not very heavy "heavyweight "

First of all, I would like to say that I am basically satisfied with both the quality of the goods and the punctuality of the delivery. Used to purchase champion t-shirts; with a decent fabric density and a wide cut. A few years ago Fruit of the Loom bought out Champion and the fabric is lighter and the fit is slimmer which is now reminiscent of Fruit of the Loom t-shirts. Then I switched to Dickies (regular weight) available at Walmart. It had an even thicker fabric and an even wider cut than the old Champion t-shirts. I am happy with Dickies standard weight t-shirts. But Walmart only sells them in black, white, and gray. I wanted colors. I ordered heavy Dickies. When it arrived I tossed it in the wash along with the new standard weight Dickies. When they were washed I took both and they didn't feel much of a difference. I examined the construction and it turned out that they were of the same quality (excellent). The heavy weight was made in Nicaragua and the standard weight in Honduras. But both appear to be of the same build quality. I decided to weigh them on a kitchen scale: Standard Weight (XL) 9.25 ounces; Heavyweight (XL) 9.75 oz with a difference of 1/2 oz (5.26%). Barely heavy. So if you don't care about colors I recommend the standard weight; if you want the colors to match the heavy weight. If you want a really heavy t-shirt, the only one I know of is Duluth Trading, whose t-shirts are made with really heavy fabric and the cut is generous, but the product is expensive. I find Dickies much better for the price. Dickies are also available in tall sizes for tall men. Good product but not very heavy.
