Review on π Ekena Millwork LVSL0004BL Lifetime Shutter Loks: The Ultimate Long-lasting Shutter Fasteners by Yung Kaelin
In my case Shutter Loks didn't fit.
The replacement shutters were the same style and shape as the new units I received. The slat openings were the same and wore out after about 20 years. The shutter locks I installed about 7 years ago wouldn't stay in place so I used longer screws to attach the new shutters. Not in the corners where the blind locks are. Plastic dowels are not the best choice in my opinion.
Pros
- We recommend using 8 pieces. for a pair up to 55 inches.
Cons
- Not as thick as other options.
