Wow just wow I can't believe I got such good boots for such a price. I will try to be short and direct. ok, maybe not too short. but at least straight. lol Size: For comparison, I wear Sidi size 12 for my mainline boots. I wear 11" 1/2 with Sperry (no socks) for my regular shoes. I ordered a size 12 and they fit perfectly. (more on that below) I have calf extensions (no skinny boyish legs here lol) and I could always still Fasten the boots easily to the inside of the jeans Quality: Looks pretty high quality, most seams are double stitched, the sole is glued on so I can't vouch for how well it will hold up, but it definitely looks well built A boot literally 1/4 the price I paid for my sidies this is clearly about as affordable as you can get motorcycle boots in this style from a brand name this is actually the main reason I was skeptical of these boots from at the very beginning.The shoe box is packed in a large shipping carton with packaging filler.The boots themselves have been made from styrofoam and filler to ensure they fit their for m keep Very happy with that too. Padding and Protection: They are well stitched, thick and very durable. They seem to offer very good protection. However, they are warm and therefore probably not ideal for long, hot summer trips. However I can't confirm that as all I know is that they keep my feet warm and it's 35 degrees outside right now so I'm just guessing it can get hot in the summer. Shoe 5 stars in my book. I can actually walk in it without the weird bruises. All other running shoes I've had before including my current seats are a bit uncomfortable when walking, the flex that occurs above the ankle is usually so tight in all other boots I've had. They're really comfy right out of the box! Okay, so I've attached a few photos and want to point out an added bonus that I wasn't expecting: the open boot has fully waterproof webbing that lines the entire bottom opening to keep your feet dry. in wet driving conditions. It's a nice addition, glad I installed it. I bought these boots for motorcycle touring and wanted the same protection as on the trails. and at a reasonable price that I could get. I can confirm that they are not waterproof in heavy rain. They're good for the first hour or so, but riding at high speed in the rain for hours will get your feet wet. I didn't buy them because they're waterproof, so I won't star it. just wanted to confirm that they are definitely not waterproof, just waterproof for a while. The boots were still holding up great but took me almost 2 days to dry when I got home.
