Review on 🖥️ Acer ED323QU Pbmiippx: Dynamic 31.5" Curved FreeSync DisplayHDR400 with High-Resolution 2560X1440 - UM.JE3AA.P01 by Benson Ollanketo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Out of the FUGLI box and after a few calibrations?

I spent time with this monitor before reviewing it. Out of the box, brightness and black levels are pretty good, but color reproduction feels gloomy. I've tracked this down to the point where it was a terrible green channel/green tint issue. As a result, the reds are now also more popular. Below are my color settings to combat the green tint/tint issue. 1.) First, set your profile to "Custom". R.Gain and decrease B.Gain if you want to warm up the image. I left mine on Standard because I prefer the standard image to the more cinematic warm colors. Games aren't movies, I like to enjoy them more naturally and without the added warmth that many prefer. 3.) Scroll down a bit and turn off SRGB (not needed in games anyway). For me, SRGB in games smooths the picture. 4.) Finally go to 6-Axis Hue and turn Green Hue up to 100. Sounds tight, but the problem was only partly in the level of the green hue, so its gain decreased by -10, the biggest problem seemed to be the green hue itself. Increasing this to 100 makes the grays more neutral. As a result, my outfit in Control looks like the black and gray outfit I first saw on my phone, rather than the black/greenish/grey mess I've been growing. recently. Skyrim doesn't look so grim now either. And my reds look way better without the terribly intense greens. Even if you only look at general photos, everything looks much better on the internet. It's funny because I opened Edge and saw a giant green leaf image on the Bing image of the day and it looked beautiful with the new sizes.
