I have very wide feet that are not very big. For women I would wear 6.5-7 if I could find the right width. It's actually the same with kids (sneakers for big kids). I'm sure as I've done this before with big kids shoes. When I received them the first thing I honestly said was that they looked cheap. I'm not usually the type to say that unless it's important. They didn't feel like normal shoes, it's hard to explain. They seemed more rigid to me and the material is just poor quality. Also, they definitely didn't seem too wide. I really wouldn't recommend them if you (or your child) have very wide feet. They seem to be between D and E. I think x-wide should be 2E.
