I ordered this controller for my 9yo daughter who is obsessed with Minecraft and Mario Kart. For best results and performance, make sure to fully charge the battery to 100% before using it. The controller performed well for both games, especially Mario Kart. This controller was very responsive during Mario Kart without any noticable lag. As far as wireless distance is concerned, I was able to get 15-20 feet from the Switch before the connection started getting spotty and cutting out. My kiddo loved how both thumb sticks lite up various colors and slowly color changed between colors as well. Still attempting to test out the built-in headset jack. It's a nice feature that would be great, but don't have a game yet to try it out. The controller was used for a solid three hours without and issue. It didn't need to be charged at that point. Looking forward to buying a second one.
